Bisimoto

Bisi Ezerioha
In '89 and at the tender age of 15, Bisi Ezerioha came to the U.S. as a chemical engineering major-of course, it didn't hurt that he has an IQ of 146. After receiving his bachelor's and master's degrees, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry for nine years, and at the same time found a great interest in drag racing Hondas with a twist: SOHC with no VTEC. He developed his own winning engine package under the guise of Bisimoto Engineering, designing the first Honda-to-Honda drag adapter plate, and even manufactured his own race fuel from '94 to '96, until he was banned. Bisi carries the distinct honor of having built and driven the fastest and quickest carbureted FWD in the world, the fastest street D-series all motor Honda with a 12.68 at 107mph and has the fastest full-race D-series all motor Honda with a 10.77 at 123mph.

*Beat that kg tuner, engine builder + wire tucker (Mr K20) hehe.......

ROJAK'S KK CANNONBALL RUN 2009 (DAY 2)

Saturday (05/12/09)

Yawn! I am so not a morning guy. Was a good sleep after a very heavy dinner last night, barbecued chix wings, soy sauced fishes, kangkong belacan....errrrr i can't recalled again. Anjung Selera, Likas was the place, food stalls located along the shore on the way to 1Borneo. It was exactly 0730hrs, everybody in the apartment was up already. Some having breakfast, some with their lappies and me with a toothbrush stucks in my mouth. We have to be ready by 0900hrs to be transported to a well-known marine park island, Manukan and mamutik.

It was nearly quarter to 9am, we were all down to the main entrance and was introduced to a caretaker name Beverly. Nice lady, very prompt and clear and will amuse Bobby if she had glitter on. We all hopped in a 40 seats bus and it was only 14 of us, so you do the maths how many seats are vacant. By the way, we are on a package organised by a local friend. Cost RM$178/pax, this package including transports from apartments to venues, buffet lunch and government tax. 15minutes then we reached Jesselton Jetty where we are going to get a boat and off to Manukan Island.

Sunny day ayt! sun-block done, snorkling gear done, eyewash not done....hahaha! Entry fee to the island is RM$10 which ours was included but for the gears rent are RM$10 each, so it was fair enough. Only few of us snorkling and the rest did their own stuffs.....hahaha! Birdwatching! The corals were amazing although not that big but still it was exhilirating. Spend almost 2 hours in the ocean. Another tips, although you know how to swim but it is preferable to rent the float-jacket so you won't be tired. Then packed everything up and we headed to Mamutik Island, which took us like 10 minutes by boat.
Mamutik Island is a bit smaller than Manukan Island, it has its own beauties. So there we were having our buffet lunch, of course lots of grilled seafoods. Wasn't so bad for me, tasty enough to fulfilled my craves. Short after that again we headed to the ocean to swim with the Dugong, hehehe! Some were headed to Sutera Harbour Marinesport to rent jetskies. The day getting gloomy and waves getting bigger so the water turns milkier. Had enough of fish already, then freshen up and relaxing, enjoying the splendid views. We went off the island somewhere around 4pm. Well recommended to relieve stresses behind, worth go there!

That's it for day 2, may take a while to do coverage on day 3. Busy with stuffs and works, we are freelance and not paid so please do understand hahahaha!

ROJAK'S KK CANNONBALL RUN '09 (DAY 1)

Friday (04/12/09)

The weather was fine, sunny with partly cloudy. At around 1000hrs, every participants gathered at BCR Junjongan as a starting point. FN2R leads the way, suprisingly there was no long queue as expected but only couples of cars. It was a good start for a long journey, blessed with a smooth immigrationing and customing.

It took us like an hour to reach Limbang-Temburong border. And again no queue but as we went further towards the ferry, jinxed it! We waited for almost 3/4 of an hour to jump in the ferry. BND$4 or RM$8 fee for a car, so you choose hahaha. We were rushing at Poni check point, planned to reached Neggalang petrol station before Friday prayer but as we reached there it was already closed. So we continued our convoy, the tarmac was excellent all the way to labu. If you dare, you can reach top speed or you can reach the river. One of the participant's car broke his sideskirt due to heavy landing after a bridge stepping.

Labu check point then queueing for Lawas ferry, again a long queue. The bridge is like 60-70% done, hehehe good news eyy! Here lies the problem for lowered car, one thing is the stupid camouflage humps and the other of course to jump in the ferry. Lucky for us the tide was just fine to allow all of us pass through. Shortwhile we headed for another checkpoint which is Trusan checkpoint. Hint, you dont need to fill in the white form in Limbang but here is a must.

Such a lovely day in Lawas, sunny with alot of wind in my tummy hahaha! The roads improved much better than before, it's been a while didnt drive to KK. All the way to Sipitang, the traffics weren't hassled much only few trucks slowing us down. We took a pit-in at Sipitang, freshen-up and had our late lunch. Unfortunate for EF9 coz his car door handle pin loose, simply saying it was like locked from inside. Watching McGyver series taught me alot hahaha, so we managed to unlocked it. Then after done this and that, we headed to petrol station then we continued our saga.

Wok's Accord had the fastest time to refuel and I came 2nd, so we rushed out of Sipitang with an average of 100KM/H. The traffics were bad, we encountered lots of long vehicles and dogs!!! The others were worried asking where were us. Amazingly they took like 45 minutes to bump into us somewhere after Beaufort. Hahaha we cheated you guys, we used a short-cut but honestly we weren't that fast! Then the stunt part came, everybody was like on hot pursuit, petrolhead rushed i guess! Sindumin Checkpoint-checked. Papar, turtle eh, bad traffics allowing us drive on the verge of 60KM/H.

We reached KK around 1700hrs, phew......at last! Chequered flag point was Marina Court apartment parking lot. Was a great driving guys. So after get parking lots, did minor car inspections and lots of stretching we settled in apartments and chat about the rides also arguing for some issues hahaha.....we drove slow damn it! Well, that's it for now guys. Need to clear my minds for day 2 again. Enjoy readings and sorry for my Inggeris kapal! Cheers!
